This is the second book in a series and I highly recommend not to read book 2 unless you've read book 1 or don't care about being confused for at least the first two chapters. However, I'm glad I did indeed get this from Revell because it was well worth my time.

At first I thought he was the villain, and he certainly isn't even near one.Yes he steals, but he's a likable thief with enough sarcastic comments and over-the-top thinking for anyone.
At first I thought there wasn't anything Christian in this book. And there isn't a lot. But that's what packs the punch in a few chapters towards the end I won't elaborate on lest you see for yourself.
In the end I was pretty near in love with this new book by author Mike Nappa. The characters are real, and we get a picture of urban Atlanta from the eyes of a guy running not only from God but his past (hint: it's the Raven I'm talking about here).
The mystery is also done very well and near unpredictable. We get everything from tough Ukrainian guys who aren't afraid to beat you up or cut off all your fingers,to bombs blowing up a meeting. This is an exciting read that I loved, and honestly couldn't put down. I read this book 400 some page book in under a week, which I found unusual since I (at first) feared a very boring read. How wrong I was!
Now I can't wait to check out the first book at the library and hopefully get the third one when it comes out sometime next year.
