Blog Of The Year Award Announcement

7:42 AM

Hola readers!
Can you believe it - it's the end of the year and I have sooo much to blog about! The last day of 2016.

WOW.

So much has happened in my life in the last few months, on my internet break and I just want to write about fifty posts to catch everyone up, but right now I'm doing the blog of the year award.

I don't remember when I said I'd end it, but I'm ending it now and with some changes.
Korin wondered if I put a poll up, nominating someone for Blog Of The Year, is it saying to the other blogs nominated, "you're not as good."
And comparisons are what I've struggled with all my life. I don't want to do that here.
Maybe that doesn't make sense - we have competitions all the time, right?
But I want this to be a time to be blessed - for bloggers to realize they're appreciated. So since I only have three blogs nominated, all three "win" the award.
Maybe if I'd had more entries I could have done a "Blog Of The Year", but it doesn't matter because this is my contest and I say everyone won.
Because you deserve it. Because your blog matters and God isn't sitting in heaven comparing who is best.
He looks at you and says, "there's one of my children and I love her no matter what. I'm proud of what she's accomplished."
So Chloe, Emily, Faith - you are all winners in my book and I say congrats for being nominated!!! You are all three so special. ♥
Happy New Year everyone and please advance below where I have a summary of the blogs as well as their links. Spread some happiness and check them out and maybe even follow!

Rustling Thoughts was nominated by SF and this is the blog of the beautiful Miss Chloe. SF describes Chloe's blog "real" and honestly those are the best blogs. So many times bloggers can get caught up in trying to copy cat everyone else, and it's always refreshing to go onto a blog and see the genuine realness bleed through.

Speaking of bleeding genuineness, the lovely Miss Faith's blog Princess Faith bleeds it beautifully. Her posts never cease to inspire me and I'd love to meet her in real life. I nominated her awhile back because I knew right off I'd love to let her know how much she's loved and how much I love her blog!

Korin nominated the amazing Miss Emily (who actually really reminds me of my own cousin Emily).  Korin described A Purpose and a Promise as "sweet" and "heartfelt" and those can be the best blogs to catch up on after a stressful day when the world is slamming you.

Thank you to Korin and S.F for nominating a blog and to all you bloggers out there - you are amazing. Never cease in inspiring the world and pointing it towards Jesus Christ.
