If I'm Found from Terri Blackstock
Publisher: Zondervan
Release date: 2017

Casey Fox is on the run - running from the lawmen who are accusing her of a murder she didn't commit. Dylan, a man who once promised to hunt her down, now insists that he wants to help her and she doesn't know whom she can trust.
As Casey meets new people, hiding her identity and trying to gather up clues that will help show her innocence, she runs into another dark mystery - a young girl victim of rape. To protect her, Casey may have to reveal herself.
She can't help but wonder what will happen if she's found....

I've been waiting for this book since since first receiving the first book, If I Run in in the mail. I was instantly hooked onto this addictive suspense series and now that we have this one to chew over, I'm happy to review it, because seriously, the first one took my breath away.
Terri Blackstock takes Casey's character by storm and you never know what's going to happen next. Every new turn brings another plot twist no matter how small, and the continual first person writing, while may not work with most books, flows seamlessly between Casey, Dylan and later Keegan. AND not only that, but the way Casey disguises herself or get's out of situations is not only fun but exciting to read, and is so unpredictable.
If I Run is written from someone who knows what she's doing and it shows. The romance is extremely light and will not bump out any male readers at all, while still being a beautiful addition to the plot. And the fact alone that the author manages to weave in inspirational moments without coming across as preachy or "too much" but as realistic and bringing character growth, is something few authors (in my opinion) are able to accomplish.
I think I was holding my breath the entire book, and I flew through the pages so fast I sometimes had to go back and reread pieces I'd accidentally skipped in all the action. This is a beautiful, fast-paced read, with characters you can relate to, and there's something in it for everyone. I highly recommend to anyone - fans of suspense and just the fiction genre in general will enjoy this unpredictable read.
