"Thank You" Vlog To All My Readers

7:22 AM

Hola readers!
Two blog posts one after the other really never happens, but here is a vlog for you, my readers, the people who stuck by me these five years, to the ones who just learned about Saved by Grace, to the ones who comment, to the ones who've asked how I'm feeling, to the ones who've prayed, to the ones who've e-mailed - thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
I'd love to hug each and every one of you who have ever even touched Saved by Grace in any little way, but instead here is a vlog of rambles, of slightly awkwardness, and then continue reading this post afterwards, because I want to continue the thanks haha.

There's a slight correction - I did a vlog last year but it was only about one minute, causing me to forget I'd done it. The last one before that was about two years ago and it was small too I think, and the major ones were about three to four years ago.
But anyway, thank you again. Really, I couldn't thank you all enough for five wonderful years. Every comment means a lot to me because it's a piece of you - it's you taking time to be a part of my life. Every time someone follows me I check out to see if you have a blog because I want to get to know you.

You matter.

Not only to me, but to God and I want my blog to convey that. I want to be - even in a small way - a testament of God's beautiful, ever steadfast grace, whether that's through a Christian perspective movie review, rants, fandoms or simply giving you the details of my life and how God is walking through it.
So I have to ask - how can I be praying for you? I want to have you in my prayers and I'd love for you to comment or e-mail me with your requests. We're brothers and sisters in Christ and I want to be a part of your life.
I have one prayer request myself - I have a scope on Saturday to check out my stomach and see what's going on with the burning and nausea, so I'd really appreciate the prayers so much. I'm getting nervous just because this is my first surgery type procedure but I'm trying to see this as a time God is testing my trust, seeing if I'll fall to complete freaking or leaning on Him.
Thanks so much again, readers! I plan on doing a Q&A vlog in a few months maybe or do something a little longer and more planned out, but this was something on a whim and that makes me happy.
Until my next post...

  1. I really enjoyed this vlog, and your honesty with sharing your blogging story! I appreciate your blog a lot, and want to say thank-you for being consistent, and pushing through those hard times. God's using you!

And I'll be praying for you - that does sound scary. I hope the findings are helpful to you though! Let's see.. if you could pray that God gives me direction about some decisions I have to make about where to put my time in the upcoming months, I'd appreciate that a lot. You are so thoughtful to ask, and I really like the community feeling that comes from praying for each other. It's powerful.

Anyway, before this comment gets longer, thanks again, and I hope you have the best day! :)

  2. Congrats on 5 years, Kara!
Omw, yessss I know what you mean about old posts. When I was 14, I had really horrible posts, like a Frozen movie review and just a whole bunch of stupid stuff. XD And yeahhh I had the same photos of myself that where sooo awkward that I blogged on my old blog. XD I can laugh about it now! XD But, I have grown a lot too, in the past few years and I just love blogging now! <3 Your blog is amazing! I love your blog and I am looking forward to reading more! <3<3<3
